Norman Burden, CEO
Having initially started his career within leisure and FMCG brands marketing, Norman went on to become an Executive Search Consultant servicing the marketing industry. He has held three executive directorships including positions in two of Europe’s leading search and selection companies and has been a founder in two previous, highly successful enterprises.
With a passion for adding value and creating impactful resourcing solutions Norman launched True North in 2008 with a group of like minded individuals. The objective was to break new ground bringing the strengths of the executive search model together with the latest technical innovations to assist client companies to develop their own exceptional resourcing strategies.
Norman has a deep understanding of recruitment and resourcing strategies formed over more than 20 years as a hands-on practitioner and is regularly called on to advise on some of the most significant challenges in the sector.
Mark Moreau, Commercial Director
With over 10 years experience delivering bespoke executive search and selection services across the broad commerce and industry sector Mark joined True North in 2009 to build its fledgling Executive Search practice. Mark now has overall responsibility for group business development, key client engagement and sales activity across True North’s complete Resourcing & Consultancy service set encompassing; Executive Search (Interim/Perm), Managed Service Provision, Talent Acquisition & Management, Campaign Resourcing & Graduate Recruitment.

Wanda Goldwag, Non-Executive Chair
Prior to her current role, Wanda had a career in marketing spanning over 25 years. This included senior roles at Yves Rocher, Fidelity unit trust, leading advertising agency WWAV , Thorn EMI, Thomas Cook – where she headed the $8 billion foreign exchange business – and finally as Managing Director of British Airways owned AIR MILES.
Wanda now has a portfolio of Non-Executive roles and is a Director of companies in the music and travel industries, back-office and consulting worlds. Wanda also works as an advisor to Smedvig Venture Capital, which has included over twenty investments in the £2-£10 million range.
In 2008 Wanda was part of the original team that founded True North Human Capital and is the Non-Executive Chair.
In 2012 HM the Queen has appointed her as a Civil Service Commissioner.
Neeta Gadhia, Finance and Operations Director
A qualified Management Accountant, Neeta has a wealth of financial and analytical experience in the recruitment, media and education sectors.
After graduating from Loughborough University, Neeta started her career with a national car leasing company where she trained and acquired her accountancy qualification. Relocating to London she joined CIC Video, part of United International Pictures, as Financial Analyst where she gained international experience.
Neeta spent seven years at the BBC working on a number of key financial and IT projects and then joined a niche IT recruitment company as Financial Controller, where she played an instrumental role in establishing the finance function. After a short spell with the University of Westminster, Neeta returned to the recruitment sector with True North, where her commercial awareness and solution orientated approach is more suited to the demands of this fast growing, dynamic and entrepreneurial Company.
